Brief description of fishery:

Tal-y-cynllwyn is a very popular beat with local anglers, with easy access and a good mixture of deep holding pools and runs. Named pools include, ‘Stump Pool’ and ‘Jock’s Hut’.

Turn left before the start of the Garnswllt Road (by humpback bridge), follow road for 300 yards and take first right into McMillans Ind. Estate. Continue through estate, cross the railway line (use Network Rail phone to ensure a safe crossing) and park on the left-hand side, by farm house entrance (room for 3-4 vehicles). Follow signage out of farm yard, turn left and cross two fields to river.
