Brief description of fishery:
GCG is a shared beat with Gwaun Cae Gurwen Angling Association, and is the mid point of our waters. An interesting mix of deep pools and runs, with many named pools including ‘GCG Sanding’, ‘Platform Pool’, ‘Flight-pond Pool’, ‘Tycanol Sanding’, ‘Tractor Pool’ and ‘Merion’s Pool’. This beat is ideally suited for day time trout fishing and night fishing for sea trout.

Roadside parking for one vehicle. 10-minute walk across the railway line and three fields to the river.

Off-road parking (up to 6 vehicles). Pull in off the road and to open combination locked gate. From car park, keep right, down steep hill and across railway line and two fields to river.
